Afflicted by wanderlust as a child, Michelle’s incurable passion for travel and discovery has allowed her to explore places near and far.  Always at the forefront of these adventures is one pressing question she is eager to answer, “What shall we eat?”  From her backyard in San Diego, California to the amber hills of Tuscany and Umbria, Metter looks for every opportunity to “break bread,” drink great wine, and enjoy both in the company of friends.

Her profession both feeds and requires her thirst for all things epicurious.  As an owner of a national event production agency specializing in events for the food and wine industry, Metter has an ever-present opportunity to take part in some of the most exciting, cutting edge culinary experiences the city of San Diego has to offer.

A graduate of San Diego State University, Metter is also a member of the California Restaurant Association, the San Diego Port Tenants Association, the San Diego Convention & Visitors Bureau, the San Diego Chapter of ISES, the American Marketing Association, Women In Wine, and serves as  a board member of the American Institute of Wine & Food and the city of La Mesa’s Parks & Recreation Foundation.
